Did You Ever Wake Up One Day and Realize

When did I become responsible for the happiness of everyone on the planet in the galaxy (I see they have recently found signs of life on one of Saturn's moons so I may as well include that too)?

Pardon my French, but that's a lot of f*ing pressure.

Only if you accept the responsibility... which I categorically do NOT. Practice saying "No", my friend. It's cathartic and will set you free!

Tough morning, Carma?

Ugggggg I hate days like that!
If it helps, I'll take some pressure off and say that you aren't responsible for my happiness today. :) Every little bit helps!

Keep fighting back Carma. I put the same pressure on the Mrs. and she puts us in our places very quickly.

I've truly learned to believe & KNOW I aint EVER going to make EVERYONE happy... no matter WHAT you do or dont it...

Shake off the pressure of trying - it'll only make YOU unhappy - & how messed up is THAT?

This responsibility comes with your ovaries. Or something like that.

I totally understand. Some days I feel so much weight on my shoulders and I feel like I'm not allowed to have a bad day because I have to be Suzy sunshine for everyone else lol

Pardon my language as well.....

You need to change businesses. I did it a while back and I feel a lot better.

You see, I don't take any shit and I don't give a shit.. I am not in the shit business anymore ;-)

You can't make everyone happy. It just doesn't happen... and trying will only stress you out... But somehow I think you already know that.

What's that old phrase? "You can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time." It's worth remembering in order to maintain sanity. Take care. x

I know that this was just a rethoric post, however I'm glad to inform you that nobody can make someone else happy.
You can print it out, frame it and hang it somewhere ;) so that everybody will know.

Oh noes! Sounds like a rough day. Go tell everyone to eff off and take a bath with a glass of wine. That's what I wish I could do. I hope things get better...

i enjoy your blog on many levels...relating on ideas you express more eloquently...suggestions/comments/advice shared by commenters...i, too, am a people-pleaser with too many people needing to be pleased (and never pleased enough, because, like several commenters said, happiness has to come from within)...thanks for the reminder...
