VC loves the beach. As soon as he saw the ocean on the horizon, he said, "My stomach did a little hop when it saw the ocean."
When he wasn't testing out his new skimboard, he was floating around on an inner tube (despite the 60 degree water temp). I played the role of Landlubber.***********warning: hot-n-sexy beach pic to follow**************
as you can see, I put the "white" in "white" and sure- most of the chicks were wearing tiny string bikinis, but why would you want to do that when you have your LL Bean thermal zip up, denim capris and old lady sun hat? I was fairly easy to spot amongst the sea of scantily clad babes, which was my goal ;-)I won't bore you with our downtown architecture and touristy pics, other than this one that was taken at The Battery because cannon balls are cool :D
Every trip to Charleston, we make a point of dining one night at our favorite Pizzeria: Andolini's. The 19" pizzas are huge and the boys look forward to it, as well as our yearly pizza slice pic:

I am *so* envious - you're in summer gear and there are people in the ocean, yet as far as I know the Gulf Stream doesn't go that far up the coast. It is *freezing* here and the sea temp (we are "washed by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream" - HAH!!) is a chilly 54 degrees! Oh that's it. I'm emigrating!

Looks like an awesome trip! We have burritos as big as your head here but I've never seen a pizza as big as your car! That thing was huge! LOL
OMG..that pizza is HUGE...you look pretty in your beach attire...see you're one of the gals that can look gorgeous in anything...looked like so much fun..Im jealous of your warm beach weather...we actually had sun on Sunday, and ate drank and laughed all day...BBQ style..!
I would have loved to sack out on a beach, even if it weren't overly hot. Instead, we watched the kids hunt for bunny droppings of the chocolate variety, and ate ourselves stupid. Same as last year, and every year before that as long as I can remember (and have had kids)

Awesome! I wanted to go to St. Augustine this summer, but we're putting it off til Thanksgiving cuz I need a car. I love the beach too, and I'd really like to live somewhere close enough to see it every day.
I love the beach too. I always say - why go to the mountain when you can go to the beach?

This holiday I ate a lot of chocoloate and waited for my car that was being shipped by Auto Shipping Network. My car was right on time, so I got to drive it to the beach afterwards.

We didn't do anything special. Look like yall had fun. I would blind people at the beach if I put a bikini on....like I'm gonna wear one anyway!
I love the beach. So jealous! We went to the lake, but spent the time cleaning up the house and mowing the yard. Oh well, it was nice to get away!
