Looking back at my previous post, I've decided that I do not do "angry and bitter" well...
I'm exhausted.
Which means it's time to take a bit of a break to reconnect and find the joy that has been missing from my activities for a while now.
Several weeks ago I was watching the CBS Sunday Morning episode that featured a segment on Chuck Williams, the founder of Williams-Sonoma - who at 94 still goes to work every day. He said something that made me take pause: "If you love what you do, then the world will fall in love with you."
Continuing on my present course, the world ain't even gonna fall in "like" with me.
My activities have become more like "chores." It's time to make some changes, which means you will be seeing a little less of me around here for a while. (For those of you who follow me on Twitter, I will continue to be posting my frivolous banter, interspersed with occasional bouts of wisdom and tons of wasted contest tweets, which may or may not be a good thing ;-)
Thank you friends for bearing with me while I recharge.
xxoo

He,he,he, it's happening the same to me :)
Hey now, you've got me all worried and fretful!!!
OH sweety. Praying you find what you are looking for. And a bunch of other fun stuff along the way. I have always enjoyed your totally creative and unique way of blogging and really appreciate your honestly and humor. You are a precious gem! Cant say Im glad your going anywhere, but I am glad your making a choice that is best for you. Cause YOU ROCK.
Be blessed-
Amanda
I will be waiting anxiously for your full time return to blogging! Ok! Please! Ok? :)
I understand entirely. Take a break, re-charge and re-assess only, selfishly, I hope you won't be gone too long. You're one of my 'top reads', a good internet friend and I'm going to miss you.
Take care, big hugs... x
BIG {{{hugs}}}
We'll miss you, but we'll be here when you are ready to return!!! :-)
We all need it every once in awhile. Take a break, recharge, refresh. Do what you need to do. I'll be here... unless of course I'm needing to take a break, recharge and refresh.
I'm glad I'll still see you in twitterville!
Good luck finding that spark!
Recharge and then do it for what you always did it for, US, right, the fringe (LOL)
Just teasing you, really go find what you need and you are on my reader so I will wait to see when a post pops up!!!
Christ! Now I'm having an anxiety attack! What am I going to do without you?????
Guess I'll be spending more time on Twitter...
I'll be here waiting for you to get all charged up!
Take your time and do what you need to do. I'll be waiting for you when you are ready to come back. xxx
I completely understand :-)
I'll miss you. Do what you need to in order to recharge. Hugs to you. And I'll be here when you are back.
Recharging is good. But don't forget to come back!!
Oh----my dear, as you have noticed, I have been absent from the blogging world for awhile----I too, am exhausted, as I work constantly. I am doing two shows at the same time now, as well as voice lessons and doing all the publicity, etc. for my theatre. I am LUCKY to get a night off!
Sooooo- take care of yourself first----you are the most important person---then your family, then the rest of us....
Love ya, girl!
Do what's good for you, and be happy.
I gave you an award on my blog!
Be happy... I can't get into the whole twitter thing yet... but I am getting there.
relax.. and we totally understand... can't wait to see ya back though!
I just sent an e-mail to someone saying that I will more than likely be throwing up another "blog closed" sign.
Hang in there gal. We all need a break sometimes.
I hope your respite does you good an you come back lady!
Enjoy your time off! You will be missed!
You will be missed, Carma! Come back soon!! xo
Carma, you've got to remember that your devoted blog readers take the good with the cranky! And getting personal in a public {bloggy} way is an art form, which you have done with grace. And remember, you can't have a "little" grace. You either have it or you don't. And you do!
But take a break if you need to. It's totally up to you. I ain't going anywhere.
I hope you feel better! Recharging is DEFINITELY important, so please take care of yourself. :-)
First thanks for responding to my email. We'll miss you but we'll be here awaiting for you to recharge a bit. Do what you must do for you, we understand!
I'll miss you :(
Big {{HUGS}} for you.
It will all work itself out.
