Multiple Choice

(GAH, I was all set to hit publish when I noticed my follower tally was back up- yet, this post was already prepared so I've decided to run with it anyway- since I'm lazy like that )

I couldn't help but notice notice that my last post has cost me the loss of a follower, especially since it's not like I sit at the computer all day tallying followers ;-) which leaves me to ponder hypothetically, would any of these items ever be construed as objectional:

A. the word 'pseudo' being prominently featured in the title
B. the mention of amateur radio
C. the use of Morse Code
D. the display of a Renaissance costume
E. the "puffy shirt" reference from Seinfeld
F. comparisons to Robin Hood
G. the word "skankilicious"
H. the shameless attempt to garner sympathy for my hand injury
I. the use of a euphemism for a 'curse word'*
J. what? you don't like the Ice Road Truckers
K. all of the above
L. none of the above
M. we're not gonna tell ya

Do you mean to tell me the hip bloggers are not blogging about such topics these days? ;-)

*In first town we lived in after moving South, we had an elderly neighbor who used to complain about EVERYTHING -- he used to say "dag blame" this "dag blame" that - so we quickly added those fun words to our lexicon!

i think that feedburner tallys are wrong sometimes..

this happend to me last week..
i went to check the stats..
the number had gone from 184 to 183..
but when i went to previous days' stas ..it was not showing 184 as i expected..but rather 182...(so i counted maunally..google reader had 179..and rest from others..)...now i look at the google numbers instead on reader...i feel they are never wrong..

its not real...do not worry about it..

The followers thing is something, isn't it? I had someone stop following me too and wondered, "Gee, what'd I do?" Lol.

I have never seen a single offensive thing posted on your blog! Even the penis hat! Hell that was just freakin funny! Don't sweat it...you rock! Their loss!!!

Frankly I respect anyone who can come up with a creative euphemism for a swearword. There aren't too many of those free-thinking gems out there and anyone who'd dump your blog over such a thing is a total wot-schmuck.

I actually encourage all of these and would like to see a little more of them especially, the word skankilicious.

Love the word skankilicious. I lost 2 followers recently. I wonder why too.

You lose some, you win some! You've got me! Charmed by your post . . . Looking forward to 'hanging out', my SITSta! Here I am, Follower No. ___? :) Happy to be aboard . . .

We lose followers all the time. I always wondered what we said to seal the deal. Ah ha

The Followers thingy is finicky...it's been that way since Google Friend Connect merged with Blogger - Blogger still has some 'known issues' that are yet to be addressed, so I wouldn't worry too much. You ROCK and I'll follow you to the ends of the earth...wait, does that sound too stalkerish? ;)

it's not just the Followers that has problems, and it can get really frustrating, but, we can only do so much! you'll be alright...

Carma, my followers numbers go up and down like a navvy's drawers, to coin a quaint phrase - I have learned not to pay so much attention to them, but those that comment, as you do at mine, always earn my love and respect... Loved the odour free bag review - Is there anything like that (available here Over The Pond, of course) for Teen's Shoes???! I am off on my hols from tomorrow, my darling, so shall not be around for a couple of weeks - Ever so sorry to miss you, hope you enjoy what remains to us of summer!x

I would follow you TWICE because of the use of the word "skankalicious" - I love that word.

I lost two followers over the last couple of weeks too. Oh well.

I love your blog just the way it is!

And if you posted something offensive, I might actually love it more.

Remember the cheerleading thing? People are so touchy! You can't always make everyone happy.

Actually, I am a huge fan of any references to MORSE Code related posts -- how could I not jump on board -- LOL! ;)

I must admit I don't really understand the workings of Reader and the whole 'Follower' thing. Maybe just as well or I'd get in a stressy. I do, however, look at my stats over at Wordpress and they show *huge* fluctuations. Rather depressingly I know that visitor numbers spiked when I wrote about the girl apparently wearing no knickers at Royal Ascot (and she continues to pull them in, so to speak). Moral of story: Call each post 'No Knickers 1, No Knickers 2'... etc. (regardless of actual subject matter) and you could be on to a winner. :)

My followers go up and down every single day. So weird.
