I did not! But if they had been on "sale" for the low, low rollback price of $3.42 you can bet I would have had a line of empty carts at the ready to load up with orangey goodness ;-)
Reminds me of the guy who made a fortune by running a large ad with his address in the NYT and the huge headline: "Last Chance to Send in Your $10." He wasn't selling anything.
Okay, maybe that's an Urban Myth. But hey, we go on autopilot when someone shoves a deal in our faces.
Blue State- It was a cleaning product; can't remember which one; at the "evil" Walmart of all places. That's where we shop here in the 'burbs. I do not think it was Bird's yellow custard circa 1972 if that's what you had in mind to splurge on :-) carma
Mark- this was definitely a mark down. Look at the sign ;) but maybe the Stealth Gelt was the one who put the price back to the original price knowing that Gelts are never to be placed on sale! carma
Excellent.Yes blogging brings you out of your own world a little.Nice to see how other people see stuff. It is an escape. Perhaps it is the 'other' nature of it, which is so attractive.

Now I have to know: what was on "sale" and where?

And here I thought it was the special year end sale of the left over Gelt.
Mark-
good guess, but Gelts are much too classy to ever be marked down.

Hilarious.
But that's the irony, they really weren't marked down ;-) Or was it a Stealth mark down?
